Overview
Claiming a Peanut link means receiving the digital money that someone has sent to you. You can claim funds in different ways depending on your preferences and needs:
- To your Peanut Wallet - Instant and easiest option! This can also give you extra rewards.
- Directly to your bank account - Convert to cash and receive in your local currency
- To an external wallet or exchange - For advanced users who want to use their own crypto wallets
- To PIX, MercadoPago, Modo, CODI - Coming Soon for users in Latin America
- To M-PESA, Airtel, DuitNow, Paypal, and many more - Coming Soon!
Method 1: Claim to Peanut 🥜
Best for: Quick and easy claiming with no fees and rewards
How it works:
- Instantly receive funds in your Peanut Wallet
- No network fees (sponsored by Peanut!)
- Works with any amount
- Automatic currency conversion if needed
Steps:
- Click on your Peanut link
- If you don't have a Peanut account, you have to option to create one and once signed up the funds will be claimed to your peanut wallet
- If you're already logged in, click "Receive on Peanut"
- Funds appear instantly in your wallet

Method 2: Claim to Bank Account 🏦
Best for: Converting digital money directly to cash in your local currency
How it works:
- Convert digital money to your local currency
- Receive money directly in your bank account
- Supports multiple countries and currencies
Requirements:
- Minimum amount: $1 USD
- Maximum amount: $101,000 USD

Steps:
- Click on your Peanut link
- Choose "Claim to bank account"
- Select your country (currently Europe/SEPA, United States, or Mexico)
- Enter your bank account details:
- Europe (SEPA): IBAN and BIC codes
- United States: Account number, routing number and bank address
- Mexico: CLABE number
- Complete identity verification if required
- Review and confirm the transfer
- Receive money in your bank account ( usually takes minutes, but can take up to 1-3 business days)
When Identity Verification is Required:
The verification process depends on who sent you the money and your account status:
✅ No Verification Needed - Easiest Option:
- When: The person who sent you money has already completed identity verification
- Who: Anyone can claim without verification (even without a Peanut account)
- Process: Simply enter your bank details and receive the money using the sender's verified status
⚠️ Basic Information Required:
- When: You have a Peanut account and the sender is verified
- Who: Existing Peanut users
📋 Full Identity Verification Required:
- When: The person who sent you money has not completed identity verification
- Who: All users (both new and existing)
- What you'll need: Government-issued ID, personal information, and verification process (Peanut never stores any documents)
- Time: Usually takes a few minutes to complete
🚀 Express Option - Saved Bank Accounts:
- When: You've used Peanut bank claims before
- Benefit: Skip re-entering bank details and speed up the process
- Process: Simply select from your previously saved bank accounts
Method 3: Claim to External Wallet/Exchange 💼
Best for: Users who want to use their own digital wallets or send directly to exchanges
How it works:
- Claim to any compatible digital wallet address or ens
- Choose between different networks and tokens you wish to receive funds as
- Transaction fees sponsored by Peanut
Steps:
- Click on your Peanut link
- Choose "Claim to wallet or exchange"
- Enter your wallet address, ENS name
- Select your preferred network and currency (if different from default usdc on arbitrum)
- Review the transaction details
- Confirm to receive your funds
Supported destinations:
- Wallet addresses: Any valid digital wallet address
- ENS names: yourname.eth
- Network conversion: Convert between different networks and tokens
Important notes:
- ⚠️ Double-check your address! Incorrect addresses may result in lost funds
- Network conversions may have slight differences due to slippage rates
- You'll see a "Min Received" amount for network conversions
Method 4: Claim to Mercado Pago 🇦🇷

Best for: Users in Argentina and other Latin American countries
This payment method will allow you to:
- Receive funds directly to your Mercado Pago account

Network Conversion Claims
When claiming to a different network or currency than originally sent:

- Small differences may occur due to exchange/slippage rates

Bank claim issues?
- Verify your bank details are correct
- Check if your country is supported (currently Europe/SEPA, US, and Mexico only)
- Ensure the amount meets minimum requirements ($1 USD and 50 MXN for Mexico claims )
- Complete any required identity verification
- For other LATAM and African countries: This feature is coming soon
External wallet issues?
